Long lost cousins meet for the first time by chance. By Raphy Sassieni:
I wanted to share with you that I just spent Shabbat with my (5th) cousin Uriel here in Ramat Beit Shemesh, Israel. Uriel is studying here for the year. I happened to have bumped into one of his friends who asked if we were related because we share the same surname. One thing lead to another and he came for Shabbat!
Who would have thought that after generations and generations, Sas(s)ienis would be observing Shabbat together in the Land of Israel, including both wearing similar outfits.

Jemma Gross
Jemma is a graduate of
Sussex University where she studied European Drama with
French for three years and one year at the University of
Bordeaux studying French Literature and Theatre. At
University, she worked on and off-stage for many
productions and discovered directing. After graduating
in 2004, she went straight into the Trainee Assistant
Directors programme at The Kings Head Theatre. Here she
assisted on many shows for the late, great Dan Crawford
as well as for incoming companies. During and post her
time at the Kings Head, Jemma was also an Associate
Director of the lunchtime shows run by Elephant Theatre
and the notorious and sorely missed Syd Golder.
